MENTORING
In addition to taking photographs and sharing
them with people, I love helping others develop their interest in
photography as a legitimate Art
form.
With so many books and classes available on the subject of photography,
why would you want to consider Mentoring as an option?
Photography requires both artistic and technical skills- and each has a
very different character. You don't have to be an engineer to
master the technical side, nor do you have to be the reincarnation of
Pablo Picasso to develop your artistic sense. On the other hand,
you do need to have a balance of skills.
Artists benefit most from
a basic understanding of the Technology, Technologists benefit most
from a basic understanding of the Art!
In either case, even a small insight gained into the "missing
dimension" has a tremendous multiplier effect on the participant's
skill level.
